The school stands in a privileged setting in the urbanisation of Crestatx at the foothills of the Tramuntana mountain range. Surrounded by the hills, forested areas, a small church and a collection of houses, the school site provides a very safe environment which the students can enjoy.
The Early Years Foundation Stage and Primary Phase encompass bright, modern classrooms complete with interactive whiteboards and a wide range of educational resources to meet individual needs. They have access to a fully-equipped computer suite incorporating an individual computer for each child with tactile screen and a well equipped art room. The EYFS and KS1 also have their own outdoor learning areas to encourage as much time spent outside as possible. The Primary School students benefit from two playgrounds, a forest school area and a sports court.
Secondary classrooms are larger purpose built facilities providing the necessary workspace as the students grow. In addition to standard rooms the students enjoy use of a specialist science laboratory, art studio and library. Our Sports program for Secondary uses both facilities on and off site encompassing the nearby and expansive Poliesportiu complex in Sa Pobla, cross country running in the local forest, swimming in our on site pool, sailing in Puerto Pollença and golf at the Pollença Sports Club.
Mallorca International School is set to welcome its first Year 12 intake in September 2022. The school has exciting plans to expand the existing site, building a suite of classrooms, a library and a study area for Sixth Form students.
